Zeng Fanzhi 曾梵志
The Francisco Godia Foundation presents, for the first time in Spain, the work of the Chinese artist Zeng Fanzhi, who is considered one of the leading exponents of Chinese plastic arts of recent years. He has now made the leap into the most prestigious galleries, major international exhibitions and museums. Zeng Fanzhi’s art is characterised by an extraordinary command of pictorial technique, which enables him to superimpose figurative and abstract elements in a single piece. Zeng Fanzhi will exhibit works from his own private collection at the Francisco Godia Foundation: the most personal and private works, which he has never wanted to sell. Through this exhibition, the Francisco Godia Foundation is opening up a new form of collaboration with actively working artists and putting the latest trends in contemporary art on display. |

The Francisco Godia Foundation collectionThe Francisco Godia Foundation was set up in 1998 and looks after the legacy of the businessman and collector Francisco Godia Sales. It specialises in medieval art, ceramics, Modernist drawing and painting, and 20th century art. The permanent collection takes visitors on a tour through the history of art based on the collector's taste and sensitivity. The temporary exhibitions highlight the importance of private collectors in recovering our cultural heritage. The collection grows each year with new items that complete it and open it up to the 21st century. |
